In October I’ll be taking part in Race for Life to raise money for Cancer Research and the groundbreaking work they do.
As a result of the pandemic, far fewer people have been getting checked for cancer symptoms. According to the Macmillan website there are 50,000 people now missing a cancer diagnosis who are at risk of becoming the forgotten ‘C’ of the COVID crisis - which is absolutely terrifying. 1 in 2 of us will be diagnosed with cancer in our lifetime and cancer doesn’t stop for anything, and it definitely doesn’t discriminate.
I haven’t stepped foot in a gym for well over a year, and haven’t been for a run in months so this should be interesting!
Any donation, big or small, makes a huge difference and is massively appreciated - if you’d like to donate, here's the link: https://fundraise.cancerresearchuk.org/page/tabbys-race-for-life-15
Thank you 💕
